打者とは、クリケットにおいて、バットを持って打撃を行い得点を狙う選手のことを指します。打者の技術と判断力がチームの得点に大きく影響します。野球では通常 batter を用います。
A batsman is the player in cricket who tries to hit the ball and score runs. The word is mainly used in cricket, especially in British English and other cricket-playing countries. In some modern contexts, people also use batter as a gender-neutral term.
