二つ以上の地域・境界・権限・期間などが、同じ範囲や終点を共有して一致していることを表す形容詞。地図上の境界がぴったり重なる場合だけでなく、役職に伴う権限や制度の適用範囲が完全に対応している場合にも使われる語。
