規則違反や条件未達などにより、競技・試験・選考への参加資格や認定資格を失った状態を表す形容詞です。人・チーム・候補者などを修飾して「失格となった」「資格を失った」という意味で使われます。
Disqualified means not allowed to continue in a competition, activity, or process because a rule was broken or a condition was not met. It can also mean judged as not suitable or not officially accepted for something.
