解説 Definition
fermenting は ferment（発酵する、発酵させる）の現在分詞・動名詞です。食品や飲み物が微生物などの働きで発酵している状態、または発酵させる作業を表します。
Undergoing or causing fermentation, a process in which microorganisms or their enzymes transform sugars and other substances, often producing acids, gases, or alcohol. The form may describe food or drink in that state, or the activity of making it ferment.
