誰かや何かについての情報や忠告を受けても、それに注意を向けずに行動することを指す。関心を払わないことで、目の前の物事を無視する状態になる。無視することで余計な干渉を避けられる場合もあるが、重大な結果を招くこともある。
To ignore something or someone means to pay no attention to it or not respond to it. It is often used when a person chooses not to notice something, or when something is treated as unimportant.
