morn は morning と同じ「朝」を表す古風・詩的な名詞。日常会話の Good morning で morn に置き換えるのではなく、文学的な on a summer morn「ある夏の朝」のような情景描写で使う。morrow「翌日」と形が似るが、morn は夜明けから始まる朝の時間そのもの、と結び付けて覚える。

Morn comes from Old English morn and morgen, both meaning “morning.” It belongs to the same Germanic word family as English morning and German Morgen.
