解説 Definition
新しい神経細胞（ニューロン）が生成され、既存の神経組織に統合される生物学的プロセス。特に海馬と嗅球での神経生成が研究されている。
Neurogenesis is the process of creating new nerve cells, especially neurons, in the brain or nervous system. It is mainly used in biology, medicine, and psychology when talking about brain development, learning, or recovery. This is a scientific term, not a word for everyday conversation.
