「過大評価されている」とは、実際の価値や能力以上に高く評価されている状態を表す形容詞である。期待や評判に対して実際のものが及ばないと感じる際に使われる批判的な表現である。映画、音楽、食べ物、人物など様々なものに対して使われる。
