泥炭
解説 Definition
泥炭とは、沼地や湿地に堆積した、部分的に分解された植物質からできた茶色い物質です。燃料として、または園芸用の土壌改良材として使われます。
Peat is a dark, soft material made from dead plants that have partly decayed in wet ground. It is found in bogs and similar places. People use the word in discussions about soil, gardening, fuel, and the natural environment.
