- was revived のように be 動詞と過去分詞を組み合わせると、「復活させられた、再開された」を表せます。 Combine be with the past participle, as in was revived, to describe something being brought back or restarted.

「再び生きる」という語の成り立ちを、弱まったものに生命を吹き込む像と結び付けましょう。revive は語末が e なので d を加えて revived。-ed は /d/、全体は /rɪˈvaɪvd/ です。
