希少性

希少性とは、必要とされているものが十分に存在しない状態で、供給が需要に対して不足していることを指します。経済学の基本概念の一つで、希少性のあるものは一般的に価値が高まりやすくなります。資源・食料・時間など幅広い対象に使われます。
Scarcity means a situation in which something is not available in enough quantity. It is often used for food, water, money, resources, or anything that is hard to get because there is too little of it.
