身体の通路の異常な狭化。医学では食道などが病的に狭くなった状態を指し、また厳しい批判や異議を意味することもあります。
A stricture is an abnormal narrowing of a passage in the body, such as a blood vessel or tube. It is mainly a medical term. In more formal general English, it can also mean a strong criticism or a strict rule.
