誰かの話を聞く準備ができていて、聞き逃さないように集中している状態を指す表現です。親しい人や上司が重要な情報を話し始めたとき、相手に向かって“今私は耳をすませている”という意味で使います。
If you are all ears, you are ready and eager to listen carefully to what someone is going to say. It is an informal expression that shows strong attention and interest. It is usually used in spoken English.
