解説 Definition
cashmere はカシミア、つまりカシミアヤギなどの柔らかい毛や、それで作った布地を指します。日本語の「カシミア」とほぼ同じですが、英語では素材名として衣類や織物の説明に使われます。
A very soft, fine fiber obtained chiefly from the undercoat of cashmere goats, or fabric made from that fiber. It is commonly used for warm, lightweight clothing such as sweaters and scarves.
