優生学とは、人間の遺伝的素質を改善することを目的とした学問を指します。選別繁殖の原理を人間に応用し、より優れた遺伝特性を持つ世代を作ることを目指します。倫理的な議論が多く、歴史的に悪用されてきた分野です。
