解説 Definition
fancying は fancy の進行形・動名詞形で、主に英国英語で、誰かに好意を寄せる、何かを気に入る、あるいは欲しいと思うことを表す。軽い恋愛感情やその場の気分としての好みを、くだけた調子で述べるときによく使われる。
Fancying means liking someone or something, or feeling attracted to them. In British English, it can also mean wanting something. It is more informal than words like "desire" or "prefer."
