人間の下腿にある2本の骨の一つで、すねの外側にある細い骨です。主に体重を支える脛骨とは異なり、足首の安定や筋肉・靭帯の付着に関わります。
The fibula is the thinner of the two bones in the lower leg. It is located on the outer side of the leg, next to the tibia. The word is mainly used in medical, biological, and sports injury contexts.
