解説 Definition
痛み、恐怖、驚き、不快感などに反応して、思わず身を引いたり顔や体をこわばらせたりすることを表す語。物理的な刺激に対する反射的な反応にも、強い圧力や脅しに対して気持ちがくじけそうになる様子にも使われる。
