解説 Definition
Himalaya は、エベレストを含む南アジアのヒマラヤ山脈を指す固有名詞です。英語では the Himalaya または the Himalayas と表されます。
The Himalaya is the great mountain system of South Asia that includes Mount Everest and many of the world’s highest peaks. In English, the range is also commonly called the Himalayas, while Himalaya may refer to the mountain system or region as a whole.
