医学で、血圧が正常より低い状態にあること、またはそのような傾向を示すことを表す形容詞。人の体調についても、薬剤が血圧を下げる作用についても用いられ、めまいや失神、臓器への血流低下などに注意が必要な場面で使われる。
Hypotensive means having abnormally low blood pressure or relating to low blood pressure. It is mainly used in medical contexts. The word can also describe something that causes blood pressure to fall.
