乳糖は牛乳やチーズなどの乳製品に含まれる糖分で、母乳や乳製品から得たエネルギー源になります。小腸の表面にある乳糖分解酵素が乳糖をブドウ糖とガラクトースに分解します。こうして分解された糖は血液に吸収され、体の各部位で使われます。
