個人の自由と自己決定を最優先し、国家による介入はできるだけ小さくすべきだと考える政治思想・哲学的立場。市場の自由、私有財産権、言論の自由、自発的な契約や交換を重視する考え方を指す。
Libertarianism is a political idea that values individual freedom and wants less control from the government. It often supports free choice in personal life and a smaller role for the state in the economy. The word is mainly used in political discussion and theory.
