個人に特有の動作や表現のクセ。または芸術における過度に様式化された表現技法で、単調さや形式化した表現を示す。
A mannerism is a small habit in the way someone moves, speaks, or behaves. It can also mean a special style in art or writing that is repeated so much that it becomes noticeable. The word often suggests something distinctive, and sometimes slightly unnatural or exaggerated.
