再調整するとは、何かを元の位置または状態に戻すこと、または新しい状況に合わせて調整し直すことです。変化に対応するために再度整える過程です。
Realign means to move something into the correct position again or to adjust it so it matches a new goal or situation. It can be used for physical things, but also for plans, policies, relationships, or business strategies.

realign は re-「再び」+ align「一直線に並べる」で、align は古フランス語 aligner、さらにラテン語 linea「線」に由来します。ばらけたものをもう一度線にそろえる感覚から「再調整する」となり、関連語に line と misalign があります。
