reclassified は、以前の分類が見直され、別の区分に入れられた状態を表す形容詞です。書類、データ、商品、職位などに使われ、reclassify「再分類する」の過去形・過去分詞でもあります。
Reclassified describes something that has been assigned to a different category after its original classification was reviewed or changed. It is also the simple past and past participle of reclassify and is commonly used of files, data, products, jobs, or official records.

re-「再び」＋classified「分類された」と分けて覚えましょう。reclassify の末尾の y を i に変えて -ed を付けると reclassified になり、語末は /d/ と発音します。

Reclassify combines re-, “again” or “anew,” with classify, “arrange into classes.” Classify was formed from class and -ify, a verb-forming element ultimately related to Latin facere, “to make.” Class itself comes through French from Latin classis, referring to a division, group, or rank. The spelling changes final y to i before -ed.
