海を中心にした風景や眺めのことです。実際に見える海の景観にも、海の景色を描いた絵画や写真などの作品にも使われます。海岸線、波、水平線などを含む広い眺めを表す語です。
A seascape is a view, picture, or description of the sea and the area around it. It is often used in art, photography, and writing about nature. Like landscape, it focuses on scenery, but specifically on the sea.

sea が分かれば核はつかめます。そこに landscape の後半と同じ -scape が付いて、「ひとまとまりの景色・眺め」を表すと覚えると定着しやすいです。landscape が陸の風景なら、seascape は海を主役にした風景です。実際の眺めにも絵画や写真の題名にも使え、単なる beach や seaside よりも“鑑賞する一枚の景観”の響きがあります。
