解説 Definition
商品や品物を売る、販売するという意味のやや硬い動詞。特に店頭、露店、自動販売機、オンライン販売などで、商品を人に提供して代金を受け取る場面で使われる。日常会話では sell のほうが一般的だが、業務的・説明的な文脈では vend も用いられる。
