解説 Definition
商品を持って歩き回りながら売ること、または考え・うわさ・影響力などを利益のためにしつこく売り込むことを表す動詞。物理的な行商にも、比喩的な押し売りにも使われる。
To peddle means to go from place to place trying to sell goods, often in a direct or informal way. It can also be used more generally for pushing or promoting an idea, story, or product. The word sometimes has a negative feeling, especially when the thing being sold is low quality or dishonest.
