裸体になることが自然で健康的であると信じ、社会生活の一部として実践する哲学やライフスタイル。ヌーディズムとも呼ばれる。
Naturism is a way of life or social movement that supports being without clothes in appropriate private or shared places, often to promote comfort, freedom, and closeness to nature. It is commonly used when talking about clubs, beaches, or communities where social nudity is accepted. The word is more formal than nudism, though the two are often close in meaning.

naturism は natural や nature が見えれば、「自然な状態をよしとする考え」と結びつけやすい。さらに -ism は Buddhism, capitalism などと同じく「主義・思想」。まず natural + ism で大づかみに覚えると定着しやすい。実際の使用では nudism と近く、practice naturism, naturist beach のような形で出やすい。注意したいのは naturalism との混同で、naturalism は芸術・思想一般にも広く使う一方、naturism は裸体での生活実践という意味にかなり寄る、と分けると覚えやすい。
See `nature` or `natural` inside it, then add `-ism`, which often means a belief or practice. That gives you a strong memory frame: a lifestyle idea about being in a natural state. Do not mix it up with `naturalism`, which is much broader and often used in art or philosophy.
