偽証する
解説 Definition
法廷などで宣誓したうえで、故意に虚偽の証言をすることを表す動詞。通常は perjure oneself の形で使われ、証人や被告が真実を述べる義務に反してうそを言う場合を指す法律用語である。単なる誤りではなく、意図的な虚偽である点が重要である。
