解説 Definition
心の病気や精神の不調を診断し、治療や予防を行う医学分野を指す。うつ病、不安障害、統合失調症などを対象に、薬物療法、精神療法、生活支援などを組み合わせて患者の回復を支える。
Psychiatry is the branch of medicine that studies, diagnoses, and treats mental illnesses and emotional problems. It is used in medical and hospital contexts, and psychiatrists may use therapy, medicine, or both.
