解説 Definition
数量や程度をはっきり特定せずに「いくらかの」「ある程度の」と示す語。数えられる名詞にも数えられない名詞にも使え、話し手がゼロではなく一定量があると見ている感覚を含む。依頼や提案では、直接言い切らずやわらかく示す働きもある。
"Some" is a determiner used for an unspecified amount or number of something. It is common when the exact quantity is not known, not important, or only partly meant. It is used with both countable and uncountable nouns in different ways.
