unease は un-「〜でない」+ ease「楽さ・安心」から成る語です。ease は古フランス語 aise を経て英語に入り、もとは「くつろぎ」の感覚なので、unease は文字どおり「楽でない状態」から「不安」になりました。easy や uneasy も同根です。
