まず efficient「効率のよい」を核に置き、in- が付くと反対になると押さえると覚えやすいです。さらに -ly で「どのように」の副詞になるので、inefficiently は「非効率的に」。efficient は時間・労力・資源のムダが少ないことを表し、effective「効果がある」とは別です。結果は出てもムダが多ければ inefficiently。work inefficiently, use resources inefficiently, run inefficiently の形で場面ごと覚えると定着します。slowly とは違い、遅いとは限らず“ムダが多い”のが核心です。
