If you know `anthropology`, you already know `anthrop-` is about humans. Add `mis-`, which often gives a negative feeling, and you get a person with a dark attitude toward people. Keep it separate from `introvert`: an introvert likes less social contact, but a `misanthrope` has a much harsher view of humanity.
