ある集団において特定の病気にかかる人の割合や患者の多さを示す指標。人口に対する罹患数や罹患率を表し、医学や疫学で健康状態の悪化を把握するために使われる。
Morbidity is the condition or rate of illness in a person or group. It is mainly used in medicine and public health to talk about how common disease is, not about death itself.
