pantheism はギリシャ語 pan「すべて」と theos「神」に、思想を表す -ism が付いた語です。神が世界の外に一柱いるのでなく、万物そのものに宿ると考えるので「汎神論」になります。theology や polytheism も同じ theos を含みます。
