預言者は、未来を予見したり、神の意志を伝えると信じられている人です。宗教的な文脈で、神聖な知識を持つ人として尊敬されます。
A prophet is a person who is believed to receive messages from God or a divine power and tell them to others. The word is mostly used in religion and history. It can also sometimes mean someone who strongly predicts future events.
