首回りなどに襞襟のような飾りが付いている、または襟のように広がる羽毛や毛がある状態を表す形容詞です。衣装や鳥などの外見について用いられます。
Ruffed describes a person, garment, or animal that has a ruff: a collar-like frill or a ring of feathers or fur, especially around the neck.
