解説 Definition
ジギタリスはオオバコ科（旧ゴマノハグサ科）の植物で、強心配糖体を含んでいます。医療用途で使用されますが、有毒でもあります。
Foxglove is a tall plant with long stems and tube-shaped flowers. It is often grown in gardens because it looks attractive, but many kinds are poisonous. The plant is also known for substances used in heart medicine.
