解説 Definition
heroine は物語の女性の主人公、または勇敢な女性という意味です。日本語の「ヒロイン」は恋愛対象の女性を指すこともありますが、英語では主に女性主人公や女性の英雄を表します。
A woman or girl who is the central character in a story, or a woman admired for exceptional courage, achievements, or noble actions. The word does not necessarily mean a male protagonist’s romantic partner.
