覚え方のコツ Memory Tip
`now` は「現在」を表す英語のど真ん中にある基本語。まず `then`（そのとき）との対比で覚えると意味がぶれにくいです。`right now` なら「まさに今すぐ」、`from now on` なら「今から先は」、`now that ...` なら「今や〜なので」と、形を変えて非常によく出ます。さらに会話では文頭の `Now, ...` が「さて／では」と流れを切り替える合図にもなるので、「今」という時点＋話の転換を担う語としてまとめて覚えると定着しやすいです。
