race（人種）が分かれば中心はつかみやすく、racism は「人種に基づく考え方・扱い」のこと。-ism は capitalism, sexism などと同じく「主義・思想・社会問題化した考え」を作る形なので、race + ism で覚えると残りやすいです。racial は「人種の」、racist は「差別する人／差別的な」、racism は「差別という考え・構造」と整理すると混同しにくいです。ニュースでは systemic racism, fight racism の形でよく出ます。
