考えや方針を容易に変えず、妥協したり折れたりしないさまを表す語。人の態度や信念、規則などについては「頑固な、譲らない」の意味で使われ、物については文字どおり「曲がらない、たわまない」という意味にもなる。
Unbending means refusing to change your opinions, rules, or behavior. It can describe a person who is very strict or stubborn. It may also be used more literally for something that does not bend.
