一人の人物がまとまった長さで話すこと、またはそのせりふを指す語。特に劇や映画では、会話のやり取りではなく、その人物の考えや感情、事情を一人で語って観客に示す場面について使われる。演説や文学作品での長い一人語りにも用いられる。
